Hello and welcome to my blog – Digital Speak!
So what is it then?
Digital Speak is about home computing, technology and of course the internet.
Speaking a language anyone can understand in the digital age we live in.
The aim of the blog is to provide information technology advice and guidance and cut through the technical jargon helping anyone who finds the digital/information age we live in all a bit daunting.
Simple and accessible (not too techie) with a few corny jokes here and there.
I hope you enjoy it.
My name is Craig Rogers by the way.
I’m an IT services professional with 18 years experience in the industry across network engineering, project management and people management.
I’m also a part-time freelance writer (unpublished) as well as a devoted husband and dad. Fan of eating, drinking cycling and watching movies.
I’ve always been fascinated by technology and the fast paced digital information age from a young age. From technology in the form of gadgets to keeping up to speed with where the industry is going.
Why Read this blog?
Why indeed. If like me you either spend alot of time online, use technology as an integral part of your life or simply find keeping up with it all a bit much, you’ll know it’s easy to bogged down in the jargon. You can find out just about ‘anything’ on any subject by simply searching the vast expanse of the internet but sometimes end up back where you started without the right answer.
Digital Speak offers it’s readers a single place to visit either for light reading, reference or to have a glimpse into what’s happening in the world of information technology in the digital age.
Sounds a bit corny but that’s the idea.
