If it was indeed designed to be an Ojime one day, the carver would have created and left blank areas, antipodes between the masks in the structure for a hole to be drilled right through.

Do we have an unfinished Ojime here?

Would be a tiny handle or knob but I have no idea. Small is beautiful I have learnt here more and more. I can't identify what substance is inside the tiny tube all I know is its black. I don't know what a kuda is have had a quick Google to no evail but will search more later. Ojime like is interesting. I'm not actually even sure what it's made of but will read more of the guides and pointers on this wonderful forum.

What happens at the other end? No other holes, blocked up even? The carving looks good to me, and it is certainly Ojime-like.
